Creator rights
Your photographs remain yours.
PhotoTalent is designed to preserve ownership, attribution, provenance and practical control over how work is displayed, downloaded and sold.

Ownership and platform licence
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant PhotoTalent only the limited, non-exclusive rights needed to store, process, moderate, display, distribute and back up that content according to your visibility and product settings. The final Terms must be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public launch.
Private originals
Original files are stored in a private object-storage bucket. Public pages use re-encoded derivatives. Original downloads require a creator setting, a verified purchase or another explicit permission and use short-lived signed URLs.
Metadata and provenance
PhotoTalent preserves the untouched original and records its SHA-256 digest. Public derivatives remove sensitive location details by default. Creator, rights and copyright metadata should be retained where safe, with optional C2PA verification added as a provider integration.
AI disclosure and training
- Creators label work as photograph, routine editing, composite, AI-assisted or AI-generated.
- AI-generated work can be separated from default photography discovery.
- AI-training permission is an explicit account preference and is off by default.
- PhotoTalent must not use member work to train models without affirmative, specific consent.
Licensing and copyright claims
Creators choose an all-rights-reserved or supported Creative Commons licence for public display. Marketplace licences need clear scope, territory, duration and permitted uses. Copyright notices, counter-notices and repeat-infringer handling require a documented human process and jurisdiction-specific review.
